About Food Facts

What is ?

We are your go-to trusted source on how food choices can impact your body, the environment and your values.

With over 50 trusted experts in our Advisory & Expert community, we diligently fact-check online claims and counter disinformation with facts.

Why does Food Facts exist?

The nutrition landscape is complex and ever-evolving. New studies are published every day that shed more light on how food choices impact our bodies and society. It can be hard to keep up with the facts.

However, science is often nuanced and on occasion information is misrepresented either through misunderstanding, human error or deliberate deceitful intent. FoodFacts exists to help clarify the landscape so you can be sure the information you access has been rigorously reviewed to ensure it's accuracy.
